đ¨ Welcome to the Board of County Commissioners meeting.  The Board values your input and ideas, and sets aside a time called “Public Input or Comments” to listen to your comments about subjects not on the agenda; that time will commence at 2:00 p.m. Times shown on the agenda are estimated:  a “Public Hearing” or “Public Meeting” will begin no sooner than the time shown.  Occasionally, items do not make  this agenda in time, but are added just prior to the meeting at the discretion of the Chairman.  This separate “Chairman’s Agenda” will be addressed as the schedule permits.

5.     2:00 P.M.   Public Input or Comments.  This is time set aside for members of the public to speak to the Board about subjects of concern or interest, or items not already set aside for a public hearing.  The Board will take all information under advisement, but generally will not take any action unless it is emergency in nature.  To ensure your comments are recorded properly, you need to state your name and address clearly into the microphone. Please limit your comments to 2 minutes.

a)         2:20 p.m. Public Hearing – Franchise #318, Ann Steel, off-site drainfield for sewer collection line, County roads known as Harbor View Drive and Mardell Drive in the Plat of Saratoga Beach, Division No. 1, in Sec. 14, Township 30 North, Range 2 East.

 

ROADS

a)         Stormwater Mitigation Agreement -  Whidbey Development, LLC; Lot 24, Holmes Harbor Golf & Yacht Club, Division No. 1 Block 2.

 

b)               Contract/Performance Bond Island Asphalt; Beverly Beach Culvert Repair; CRP 00-07, WO #280, $49,690.00; bid opening July 25, 2000.

2:45 PM - PUBLIC HEARING  -  OPS 749/00 Kerry & Maria Leaf,  Open Space Application requesting 16 of 20 acres on Parcel #R23330-329-3600 be given a timber land current use classification.

 

2:45 p.m. – Public Hearing  Ordinance No. C-78-00, PLG-022-00, Amending Chapter 17.02 ICC to Comply with the Order of the Western Washington Growth Management Hearing Board Relating to Certain Provisions of the County’s Critical Area Regulations, involving nine areas warranting special identification as Habitats of Local Importance in Island County
