ISLAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS – MINUTES OF MEETING

SPECIAL SESSION - SEPTEMBER 26, 2001

The Board of Island County Commissioners met in Special Session on Wednesday, September 26, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. in the Island County Courthouse Annex, Basement Hearing Room, with Commissioners Mike Shelton and Wm. L. McDowell present. William F. Thorn, Chairman, was absent.

The purpose of the meeting was to conduct an Executive Session pursuant to RCW 42.30.110 (1) (i) with legal counsel to discuss pending litigation. The Executive Session was continued to 12:30 a.m. in the Office of the County Commissioners. No announcement expected in open public session following the Executive Session.

The Special Session scheduled at Noon for a no-host luncheon at Coupeville Town Hall, to allow the Board’s participation in a joint Council of Governments meeting with Elected Officials from Island County, City of Oak Harbor, City of Langley, Town of Coupeville, and Port Districts, was canceled.

Executive Session adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
