đ¨ Welcome to the Board of County Commissioners meeting.  The Board values your input and ideas, and sets aside a time called “Public Input or Comments” to listen to your comments about subjects not on the agenda; that time will commence at 10:00 a.m. Times shown on the agenda are estimated:  a “Public Hearing” or “Public Meeting” will begin no sooner than the time shown.  Occasionally, items do not make  this agenda in time, but are added just prior to the meeting at the discretion of the Chairman.  This separate “Chairman’s Agenda” will be addressed as the schedule permits.

5)      10:00 a.m.   Public Input or Comments.  This is time set aside for members of the public to speak to the Board about subjects of concern or interest, or items not already set aside for a public hearing.  The Board will take all information under advisement, but generally will not take any action unless it is emergency in nature.  To ensure your comments are recorded properly, you need to state your name and address clearly into the microphone. Please limit your comments to 2 minutes.

10:25 a.m. Public Hearing – Franchise #107R, Campo Hacienda Community Association, renewal of existing water distribution system, Plat of Campo Hacienda, Division No. 1, Sec. 1, Twp 33N., Rge 1E.                 

ROADS

 

a.         Resolution C-      -02/R-02-02 – In the Matter of Initiating CRP 02-01, Work Order No. 158; Moore Road – Upper Parking Lot; $17,900.00.    

 

b.                   Contract/Contract Bond – 2001 Guardrail Project, Whidbey and Camano Islands; CRP 01-06, WO #86; Coral Construction; $22,020.00.

 

SOLID WASTE

 

a.         Coordinated Prevention Grant – Island County Solid Waste and Department of Ecology; disposal of household hazardous waste; two-year grant with termination December 31, 2003; Total Cost $288,404 (State share - $216,303, County share - $72,101)

 

 

7)      10:45 a.m. Planning and Community Development

 

10:45 a.m. - Public Hearing  -  C-175-01 (PLG-033-01) In the matter of an Interim amendment of ICC 17.02.110 to comply with the Invalidity Order of the Western Washington Growth Management Hearings Board regarding Type 5 Stream Buffers

 

10:45 a.m. - Public Hearing  -  Island County / Oak Harbor Interlocal Agreement to jointly establish and implement policies and procedures governing the unincorporated portions of the Urban Growth Area and Joint Planning Area of Oak Harbor
