ISLAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - MINUTES OF MEETING

REGULAR SESSION - JULY 1, 2002

The Board of Island County Commissioners (including Diking Improvement District #4) met in Regular Session on July 1, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. in the Island County Courthouse Annex, Hearing Room, Coupeville, Wa., with Wm. L. McDowell, Member, and William F. Thorn, Member, present; Mike Shelton, Chairman, was absent.

SPECIAL OCCASION LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVED

By unanimous motion, the Board approved Application for Special Occasion Liquor License #090293 by Whidbey Island Celtic Society for an event to be held on 8/10/02 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Greenbank Farm, 765 Wonn Road, Greenbank, subject to the condition of the Island County Sheriff that two uniformed personnel be hired; and from GSA/Risk Management that the insurance certificate name Island County as additional insured.

HEARING SCHEDULED: ORDINANCE #C-56-02 Amending the Island County District Court Districting Plan, Chapter 1.12 ICC to

Adjust Allocations for the Oak Harbor Municipal Court Department Resource and Cost Allocations

The Board on unanimous motion, scheduled a Public Hearing for July 22, 2002 at 1:55 p.m. to consider Ordinance #C-56-02 Amending the Island County District Court Districting Plan, Chapter 1.12 ICC to Adjust Allocations for the Oak Harbor Municipal Court Department Resource and Cost Allocations.

PUBLIC HEARING RESCHEDULED - OPS #442/01 Mary Zimmerman

& Steven & Joann Raymond

Due to error in legal ad, the Board by unanimous motion rescheduled the Public Hearing on OPS 442/01 from July 8, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. to July 15, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. on Open Space Application OPS 442/01 by Mary Zimmerman & Steven and Joann Raymond to designate approximately 25.76 acres and 743 tideland feet of a total 32.66 acres and 743 tideland feet, as Open Space, on Parcels R32913-151-0640, R32913-110-1010, R32913-150-2140 and R32913-148-1650, located off Wilkinson Road, Clinton.

There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned at 10:01 a.m. The Board will meet next in Regular Session on July 8, 2002 beginning at 9:30 a.m.
