ISLAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OF MEETING

SPECIAL SESSION - JANUARY 22, 2003

The Board of Island County Commissioners met in Special Session 22 January 2003, immediately following the RTPO meeting at approximately 11:30 a.m., in the Island County Courthouse Administration Building, Room #116, located at 1 N. E. 7th Street, Coupeville, Wa. The purpose of the meeting was to allow Commissioners’ participation in a joint Council of Governments meeting with Elected Officials from Island County, City of Oak Harbor, City of Langley, Town of Coupeville, and Port Districts.

The main topic of discussion related to the proposed by-laws and articles of association for the Council of Governments focusing on revisions discussed at the last meeting held on October 23, 2002. Reviewed and held for the February meeting for further review and discussion. Briefly discussed legislative issues.

Meeting adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
