The Board of Island County Commissioners met in Special Session on September 15, 2006 beginning at 10:30 a.m., in the County Administration Building, 1 N. E. 7^th Street, Coupeville, Wa., Conference Room #218. Wm. L. McDowell, Chairman; William J. Byrd, Member, and Mike Shelton, Member, were present.

The Chairman announced that the purpose of the Special Session was to conduct an Executive Session as allowed under provisions of RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) to review the qualifications of an applicants for public employment. Executive Session concluded at 12:35 p.m.

There being no further business to come before the Board, the Chairman adjourned the special session.
