The Board of Island County Commissioners met in Special Session on Monday, September 18, 2006, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The Special Session was held in the County Administration Building, 1 N. E. 7^th Street, Coupeville, Wa., Conference Room #218. Wm. L. McDowell, Chairman; William J. Byrd, Member, and Mike Shelton, Member, were present.

Opening the Special Session, Chairman McDowell announced the purpose of the Special Session was to conduct an Executive Session as allowed under RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) to review the qualifications of an applicant for public employment.

There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the Special Session adjourned at 9:30 a.m. on conclusion of the Executive Session, and the Board convened in Regular Session at 9:30 a.m. as scheduled.
