The Board of Island County Commissioners met in Special Session on January 23, 2006 at 9:30 a.m.

prior to the Regularly scheduled Board meeting beginning at 11:00 a.m., for the purpose of conducting an Executive Session as allowed under R.C.W. 42.30.110 (1) (i) to discuss with legal counsel potential or pending litigation.

Wm. L. McDowell, Chairman; William J. Byrd, Member, and Mike Shelton, Member, were present. Executive Session was held in the Office of the Planning & Community Development Director. The Executive Session lasted just under 1-1/2 hours, and no announcement was made afterwards in open public session.

There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned at 10:55 a.m.
