The Board of Island County Commissioners met in Special Session on March 30, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. for the purpose of conducting an Executive Session as allowed under R.C.W. 42.30.110 (1) (i) to discuss with legal counsel potential or pending litigation.

Wm. L. McDowell, Chairman, William J. Byrd, Member, and Mike Shelton, Member, were present.

The Executive Session was held in the Island County Administration Building located at 1 N.E. 7^th Street, Coupeville WA., second floor, Office of the County Commissioners.

The Chairman announced at the beginning of the Special Session that the Executive Session was expected to last no longer than one hour, with no announcement anticipated afterwards in open public session.

There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned at

11:20 a.m.
