4) 9:55 a.m. PUBLIC HEARING - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application for Proposed Camano Island Community Health Facility. (Video-conference provided between Courthouse and Camano Annex Review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low- and moderate-income persons and persons residing in the Island County area. Up to $1,000,000 may be available to Island County on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, housing, economic development, or community facility projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons. Comments may be submitted in writing to the Island County Commissioners by October 16, 2006.
