Bringing Baby Home
A workshop For Pregnant Couples and Parents of Infants and Toddlers

The Bringing Baby Home program, based on the research of Dr. John Gottman, has been shown to increase relationship satisfaction and decrease postpartum depression in new parents.

The Workshop Teaches Couples how to:

Parent together while meeting the emotional and psychological
   needs of your child

Manage conflict during the challenging transition to parenthood

Communicate in a way that allows Dad to stay involved

Promote relationship satisfaction

Use soothing techniques shown to decrease postpartum blues
   and depression

Presented by: Island County Public Health & Whidbey General Hospital
    
The class is scheduled four Mondays: April 14, 21, 28, and May 5

                                  7:00-9:00 PM at the Hospital

Classes will be taught by Mike Etzell, Bess Windecker-Nelson, and Karin Watson.

(Priority slots are reserved for clients already enrolled in Health Dept programs)
Couples can include any adults who are parenting a child.
