Community
forums provide an opportunity to bring
together members
of our community who have been
identified as advocates or
interested
parties for actively addressing
environmental health issues of concern.
EHAT sponsored
four community forums--two on dumping
and littering and
two on walkability. The
forum on walkability was one of
thirteen
strategies identified in the
Island County Plan for Healthy Living
for
moving toward the vision for a healthy Island
County. The forums
were
organized
around EHAT's focus areas for each
issue.
