Litter Assessment Surveys

The Island County Health Department contracted with the 
Washington State University (WSU) Extension office to conduct the 
Island County Litter Assessments.  The assessments were
conducted to determine the status of litter clean-up programs in  
Island County , to establish a baseline of the degree of littering 
and dumping within the county, and to measure the success of EHAT's

intervention strategies.  The 2005 and 2006 Island CountyLitter
