Island County Hydrogeologic Data

Click to load VERY BIG versionThe Island County Health Department has developed a groundwater database that includes well logs, stratigraphy, and water quality data.  An interface to this data has also been developed to assist in evaluating groundwater availability, water quality and seawater intrusion issues.

Search Types:  Two types of searches are available, radial and rectangular.  For a radial search, the center of the search area can be defined by the center of a parcel, a well location, state plane coordinates, or a Township/Range-Quarter Quarter Section.  The radius can be specified in feet or miles.  For a rectangular search, the corners of the rectangle are specified as state plane coordinates, or by Township/Range-Quarter Quarter Section.
