SOLID WASTE HANDLING RULES AND                         )   ORDINANCE NO. C- 61 -04
REGULATIONS OF THE ISLAND COUNTY                     )
BOARD OF HEALTH                                                           )           

            WHEREAS, on March 15, 2004 the Board of Health adopted Ordinance No. C-28-04, new Solid Waste Handling Rules and Regulations; and 

            WHEREAS, Ordinance No. C-28-04 provided that it would take effect February 10, 2004, or the date of approval by the State Department of Ecology, whichever occurs later; and 

            WHEREAS, the Health Department has been informed that the Department of Ecology will not review and approve Ordinance No. C-28-04; and 

            WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the effective date of Ordinance C-28-04 so that it will take effect; NOW, THEREFORE, 

            BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED, that Ordinance No. C-28-04 shall take effect immediately upon adoption of this ordinance.
 

Reviewed this 15th  day of  May , 2004, and set for public hearing on the   21st   day of    June , 2004 at   1: 25 p.m.  in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room.
