The Board of Island County Commissioners adopts the Freeland Sub Area Plan and designates Freeland a Non-Municipal Urban Growth Area.

On December 10, 2007 the Board of Island County Commissioners voted to adopt the Freeland Sub Area Plan and designate Freeland as a Non-Municipal Urban Growth Area (NMUGA). The Board directed the Planning Department to incorporate minor edits to the Sub Area Plan and to prepare Findings of Fact. On February 11, 2008 the Board adopted the Findings of Fact. The following materials reflect the final actions taken by the Board:

Proposed Infrastructure - Sewer Plan/Stormwater Report
     
The County becomes responsible upon adoption of this Plan for the 
     development of infrastructure including sewer & stormwater systems:
