| When is my inspection due? |
If you have already been certified through HOST to inspect your conventional residential septic system, or have hired a Licensed Service Provider, please remember to file your inspection form with the Health Department by the deadline:
Conventional Gravity Systems:
| July 1, 2010 - due every 3 years |
| May be inspected by HOST certified landowner |
Conventional Pressurized Gravity Systems:
| July 1, 2009 - due annually |
| May be inspected by HOST certified landowner if system is outside of sensitive area* |
All Other Systems:
| July 1, 2009 - due annually |
| Must be inspected by a Licensed Maintenance Service Provider |
*Sensitive areas include the South Holmes Harbor Shellfish Protection District (click to view map) and Penn Cove (click to view map). Note: inspections of pressurized residential systems inside sensitive areas cannot be certified by the landowner.
