Developing subarea plans through active community engagement |
Informing stakeholders and encouraging participation in the planning process |
Proposing changes to the Island County Code |
Establishing County-Wide Planning Policies |
Coordinating land-use planning efforts between local jurisdictions and the County |
Planning for projected population growth and allocation by jurisdiction |
Making recommendations regarding the adjustment of Urban Growth Boundaries |
Working with staff to identify issues relating to County Code and permit processing |
Creating County maps through use of GIS software |
Administrating the County’s PBRS program |
Processing Water System Review applications |
Promoting regional partnerships on land use and transportation issues |
