The 2007
implementation report to the state was submitted by the DEM
on 11 September. This year each first response organization
or jurisdiction is reporting separately in response to changes
in the reporting procedures. Island County DEM therefore
reported for the county government offices.
FINAL
2006 NIMS IMPLEMENTATION REPORT
The report indicated that Island County first responder organizations
had made significant progress toward completing NIMS implementation
and the 2006 implementation tasks. While progress was
made, more work is needed to finish implementation.
