Return your tax payment coupon(s) along with your check made payable to the Island County Treasurer. We cannot accept post-dated checks. Please be sure that the postmark on your envelope is on or before the due date to avoid incurring interest and/or penalty. If you want a receipt, you must enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. After hours, you may also drop your payment in the secure outside drop box located behind the Administration Building off 6th Street. You may park in the customer parking lot. The drop box is next to the glass door. During office hours, you may also drop your payment in the inside drop box to avoid waiting in line during the busy tax season. NO CASH in drop boxes.
Pay online from your United States bank checking account with E-check or with your credit card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a $2.00 fee assessed for e-check payments. For payment by credit card, the fee is 2.5% of the total paid. These fees are assessed by the agency processing the payments and are not paid to Island County.
